Min and Max set the scale of the gauge and of the tag's trend chart. They are shown only for numeric data types. When they are shown:
·Max must be greater than Min. Otherwise the message Min must be less than Max appears. A new tag starts with both at 0, so set Max before saving.
·Both must fit the data type. For example, a TINYINT holds 0 to 255, so the message TINYINT holds 0 to 255 appears if you enter a value outside that range.
If you change a tag to a data type that is not numeric, Min and Max are hidden and set back to 0.
