Quick Setup

1. Download and Install the PlcExcel application.

2. Locate the Excel Monitoring configuration file normally "C:\Program Files (x86) \ACL\PlcExcel\PlcExcel.AdxComAddIn\Files"

3. Configure the PLCs to monitor.

4. Launch Excel in ADMINISTRATOR MODE

5. Activate the license (Internet connection required) using the license button on the Plc Add-in. PlcExcel can run without a license but the number of tags is limited (10).

6. Make sure the local system account is set up in SQL server security as ‘Sysadmin’ and 'Serveradmin'.

7. In the Plc Add-in make the appropriate selections for monitoring and logging and Click the START button.

8. Observe a database PlcExcelDb has been created and logging has started in the data logging table.
